Tagen is a very special bred by boy. I cannot believe how well he has turned out. He is simply stunning with the prettiest feet I have ever seen on an aussie. Everyone says he looks just like his grandfather! Gotta love the pedigree of our dear Shooter! Tagen decided that he was not too interested in being a show dog and has been retired and placed in a family home where he is loved and adored with great parents.
Tagen has moved to a family home where he will be loved and adored with a stay at home wife. Congrats to David and Stephanie. It was a very hard decision to part with our dear Tagen. Tagen decided he did not like the show life much although he was simply stunning and would have done very well. With our daughter, no longer showing, we just don't have to time to keep him out there. Tagen found a home that is better than what we offer him. Being a single dog, he will be loved and adored.
Tagen took Best in Show puppy at 5 months old! He is a handsome fellow with lots of flash. Due to our work schedules we have not been able to keep this boy out showing and socializing which is why we are considering letting someone else enjoy showing him. He free stacks and baits like a dream!
It was so difficult in trying to determine which pup we were keeping from our "Storm of the Century" litter. They were all so cute. Tagen almost did not make it at birth and that just endeared him to me. Every time someone wanted to purchase him, I just could not do it. So glad that I didn't! He is a wonderful puppy. He is gentle, loving and very attentive. He is an awesome housedog and loving companion to our family.
Tagen is an amazing puppy. Off to a great show career.

11/09/12 - 11/11/12 - We went back to the Chesterfield show and were quite surprised yet again from Tagen. This time was not good news. He decided this was not a dog show but, "Fear Factor". He is going through a new phase in his young life at only 1 year old now. In this stage he was not excited to meet all the new judges. The results were: 3 Best Males, 2 Reserve Best Males, One Best of Breed (under Judge Ann Hearn) and a Group 3 under Judge Anne Hearn. We will continue to keep Tagen out in the ring and stay tuned for more information as it comes. We have some work to do.
04/20/12 - 4/21/12 Tagen makes his first appearance at Mid Atlantic Kennel Club in Chesterfield, VA. We took him out for his first experience and we were quite surprised with his performance. Tagen took BOBp under Judge David Kittredge on Show 1. Show 2 was another surprise with Best of Breed puppy, Group 1 and Best in Show puppy. (Judge Joseph Allen and BIS judge Diane Allen). Show 3 - Best of Breed puppy and another Group 1 win under Judge Diane Allen. So quite a lovely start to his show career. Thank you to all three judges. We only entered him in 3 shows due to his age. Tagen was handled beautifully by Holly, my daughter.
